True/False
I was studying at MacDonalds with my friend Hadri and then he got hungry but he had no cash to buy food whatsoever. So I offered to lend him some cash so he could buy a burger or something. Hadri’s a guy who would never borrow money from another person because he was afraid that he would either forget to pay the person back or wouldn’t have the cash to pay the person back. So being the person that he is, he refused my money, went up to the cashier and asked for every single kind of sauce that they have. So he came back with Sweet and Sour Sauce, Curry Sauce, BBQ sauce, chilli sauce, tomato ketchup, tartar sauce and mayonnaise. And then he did the most disgusting thing that I have ever seen someone doing: he emptied every single one of them (not all at one go of course) in his mouth and down his throat. And then he told me that he actually felt kind of full even though his mouth tasted rather funny.

My friend Lin Shan and I were studying at MacDonalds for quite a number of hours and by then, she had already finished her drink. She got a little thirsty after that and asked me if I had any water left in my water bottle and I told her there’s no water left. Lin Shan didn’t want to waste her money getting a drink so I told her, why not get a small cup of iced water from the counter. She told me that a small cup of iced water will not quench her thirst and she wondered if they would refill my water bottle for me and of course I said that that would be impossible because I didn’t think MacDonalds was that generous. She said she was going to prove me wrong, so she took my water bottle, and went up to the counter. Indeed, she came back with my water bottle refilled. I asked her how she got them to fill the bottle for her and she said,”Oh, I told them that you were sick and you had to take your medicine but ran out of water and a cup of water is not sufficient for you because you have a problem drowning pills so I asked them if they could refill this for you and they did.”

It’s tricky, because neither is about you, but you were present for both stories. I’ll go for the second, because it’s a bit more subtle, but I can’t tell which one is more likely.
